Preview Outreach Before Sending

Preview Email Outreach Before Sending to Students

You can now preview and test emails intended for students by sending a copy to yourself before sending to your target Student List. Sending a preview email provides the opportunity to review and modify how the subject line and email content will appear to students, as well as test any hyperlinks that may have been included in your call-to-action. You’ll find the “Test” button located alongside the “Send Email” button at the bottom of the email outreach modal. After sending and reviewing your test email, you can send outreach to students by returning to Illume Students and clicking “Send Email”.

Additionally, we’ve included email confirmation prompts for users sending emails to students or closing an email draft before it has been sent. When sending an email, you will now be prompted to take the secondary action of confirming your request to send, ensuring that unintentional emails are never sent to students. Similarly, when closing an email that has not yet been sent, you will be required to confirm the action and alerted that content of unsent an email is not saved.
