Review the Sample Count

The Sample Count in the graph's upper left corner displays the number of historical student records associated with the chosen Powerful Predictor. The Sample Count is the total number of former students within the past several terms with available data who fit your filter criteria. Historical data is the basis for our predictive insights about current students’ likely outcomes. The Sample Count does not include currently enrolled students who meet these criteria—to see a list of those students, click the Active Students number in the upper right corner. Highlight a section of the Powerful Predictor Chart to see the Historical Count for students in the sample who had a value for this Powerful Predictor within the selected range. Click View Active Students to see currently enrolled students who meet the filter criteria and currently have a Powerful Predictor value within the highlighted range.
