Track and share Degree Progress

The Degree Progress page lists graduation requirements and estimated progress towards degree completion for all majors, minors, and certificates. This includes all courses necessary to fulfill degree requirements and allows students to create a term-by-term plan towards program completion.

At the top of the Degree Progress page you have the option to quickly alert students and advisors to institutional specific degree planning messages via a customizable notification box. This notification is persistent until the user dismisses it and by default will read, “This is a planning tool. If you have questions about your degree, please contact your advisor for help.” To customize this message, contact your Customer Success Manager or Training and Enablement Consultant.

Use the Audit Refresh button located above the breakdown of graduation requirements to check for updated degree audit information. Once a refresh is complete, a notification will prompt you to refresh your browser to view the latest degree information.

Use the Print/Email button to email students directly or generate a print-friendly version of the student’s degree progress and details about upcoming planned and registered courses.

Choose from two sharing options:

  • Print: Print a copy of the degree plan summary. Change the print destination to 'Save as PDF' if you'd like to download the file instead of printing it. Once clicked, you'll see a compact list of programs in progress (e.g. General Education, Cybersecurity major), planned and registered courses, and all program requirements. Program requirements will have a checkbox to the left of the individual requirement or requirement group. This box will only have a check mark if the full requirement has been met. In the case of requirement groups, this means that all individual course requirements within that group must be fulfilled.
  • Email link to Student: Click Email link to Student to send a link to the Degree Progress page in Degree Map to the student's official email address on file with the institution. This button will be gray if the student does not have an email address on record.
