Click the Compare tab to explore additional degree options. After navigating to this page, click the dropdown to select the type of program you’d like to explore: majors, minors, or certificates.
Results will appear below the dropdown menu and will include an estimation of progress towards programs that meet your search criteria. By default, results are listed in a table view and will display estimated progress from high to low. Click the program name to see a detailed Potential New Degree Plan.
You can change the way results appear by selecting the grid icon.
In both the table and grid view, results will show the Estimated Progress, Plan Name, Program, and Plan Type.
Estimated progress is categorized as high, some, a little, or low.
- High Progress: Three green boxes that represent the highest estimated progress of 70-100%.
- Some Progress: Two green boxes and a grey box that represent some estimated progress at 35-70%.
- A Little Progress: One green box and two grey boxes that represent a little estimated progress at 15-35%.
- Low Progress: Three grey boxes that represent low estimated progress 0-15%.
You can adjust how results are displayed by filtering or sorting. To filter by keyword, use the keyword search located directly above the results to narrow down the programs that are returned. To sort in the table view, click on any of the table headers. To sort in the grid view, use the Sort By option above the results to sort by Estimated Progress High to Low, Estimated Progress Low to High, Plan A - Z, or Plan Z - A.
