Why are the rankings different between the ‘bubble chart” and the list on the right side?

All courses on the bubble chart are top influencers of either graduation or persistence (depending on which you’re looking at). They don’t just need to have a specific course signal to be important, some just have an outsized impact on grad or persistence rates without fitting the profile of one of our four-course signals.

The list on the right is a ranking of graduation (or persistence) lift for all classes, no matter which year it’s generally taken. The higher it is on the list, the higher it is on the y-axis of the chart.
