Roles and permissions play a key role in user setup and configuration. A role is how a particular user is viewed in the system, what functionality they have access to, and what student data they have access to. Permissions can be added to a user's role to provide access to specific features within Inspire. A user's roles and permissions can be updated or edited by directors that have the Manage User permission.
