Advising Management options are available to Inspire users with the Director role, where directors can:
Search for an advisor
View an advisor profile
Download the table
Message an individual advisor or group of advisors
Access Advising Management
Access Advising Management options by navigating to Advise > Advisors or select Advisors from the left-side navigation.
From this page, directors see a list of advisors in a table format with columns that are automatically available, filter options for narrowing results and add/remove column options that can be added or removed from the table.

Search for an Advisor
Type the name of an advisor in the search bar to find them in the advising management table.
You can also use the filters on the left side of the page to search for an advisor by Status (Active or Inactive) or Type (specific to the institution).
View an Advisor Profile
From the advising management table, click the row with the name of the advisor that you would like to view. From here you can navigate to the advisor's profile where you can view three categories of information: Profile, Office Information, and Contact Information.
The Assigned Students Table
Navigate to an advisor's profile and click assigned students. This will redirect you to the Assigned Students table where you can view all assigned students, download the table, or message an individual or group of students.
